Abstract

La idea de un liderazgo para la mejora de los resultados de aprendizaje del alumnado se asocia con el enfoque del liderazgo pedagógico. Este tipo de liderazgo se expresa en un conjunto de capacidades a desplegar por parte de los equipos directivos de los centros, entre ellas, la capacidad instruccional. El estudio1 indaga en el desarrollo de su capacidad instruccional de los directores escolares, traducido en la práctica del sistema educativo español, en el programa instruccional (Proyecto educativo de centro – Proyecto de Dirección). A nivel metodológico, desde el enfoque cualitativo (interpretativo) se emplea la técnica del análisis de contenido a 15 entrevistas en profundidad realizadas a directores de centros de educación secundaria de la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía. De la estructuración de los datos emergieron los resultados del estudio arrojando las siguientes categorías vinculadas al desarrollo de la capacidad instruccional (Programa instruccional) de los líderes escolares: a) Gestión de proyectos y programas; b) Administración educativa; c) Profesorado; d) Familias; e) Departamento de Orientación; f) Objetivos del Programa instruccional; g) Capacidad toma de decisiones; [y] h) Requerimientos. Finalmente, se aplicó un índice de frecuencia categorial (IFC) que sumado al ensamblaje con la teoría fundamentada posibilitó completar la construcción interpretativa del estudio.

The idea of school leadership for improving student learning outcomes is associated with the perspective of pedagogical leadership. This type of leadership is expressed in a set of capabilities to be deployed by the management teams of schools, including the instructional capacity. The study investigates the development of instructional capacity of school principals. In the Spanish education system is reflected in the development of instructional program (School Project and Management Project). A methodological level, from the qualitative approach (interpretative) we apply the content analysis technique to 15 indepth interviews at secondary schools principals in the autonomous community of Andalusia. From the structuring of data emerged the following categories related to the development of instructional capacity (Instructional Program) of school principals: a) Management of projects and programs; b) Educative administration; c) Teachers; d) Families; e) Guidance department; f) Objectives of the instructional program; g) Decision-making capacity; [and] h) Requirements. Finally, categorical frequency index (CFI) was applied and added with the grounded theory. Both made it possible to complete the interpretative construction of the study.
