La lectura es uno de los primeros contenidos, junto con el habla y la escritura, que los niños comienzan a aprender tanto en el contexto escolar como el familiar. Es por ello por lo que el presente trabajo gira en torno a ella, haciendo hincapié en el mejor camino que llevará a los niños a tener hábitos de lectura: la lectura en el hogar. Puesto que la familia es el contexto más influyente y determinante para ellos, se analizará qué consecuencias tiene que la lectura sea valorada y considerada una actividad placentera y de ocio en dicho entorno, así como los beneficios que ello provocará en los niños en el campo de las emociones y la afectividad, el vocabulario y el rendimiento académico. Finalmente, se llevará a cabo un análisis de los datos obtenidos en un estudio de campo realizado en un centro escolar, el cual permitirá corroborar los estudios examinados y buscar una proyección de futuro.
Reading is one of the first content, along with speech and writing, children begin to learn from their early years. That is why so this work revolves around it, emphasizing the best way to take the children to have it present in their daily lives: reading at home. Since the family is the most influential and decisive context for kids, it analyzes what consequences have that reading is valued in that environment, and the benefits this will cause in children in the field of emotions, vocabulary and academic performance. Finally, it takes out an analysis of the data obtained in a study of small-scale field, which will allow corroborate the studies reviewed and research for a future projection.
