The article is divided into two parts. The first one is the compilation of historical available data about the Jews in the kingdom of Granada, from its origins in the II century until 1492; the second part is the analysis of the situation of the jewish quarters in the cities of the Kingdom where Jews were living. We described the jewish quarters of Granada, Guadix, Baza, Málaga, Ronda, Vélez-Málaga and Almería. Theremight have been jewish quarters in other towns (the author mentions the possibility) like Almuñécar, Salobreña, Alhama, Antequera, Torrox, Vélez-Rubio ans other localities villages in the Alpujarra but there’s no data available.
