Abstract

A Clínica Universitária de Otorrinolaringologia da Faculdade de Medicina foi fundada em 1914 e reúne um vasto património, que cobre mais de um século de actividade clínica, pedagógica e de investigação. O espólio que resulta da actividade desenvolvida pelos Professores da Cadeira de Otorrinolaringologia é de grande importância para a compreensão da evolução do ensino e prática da Otorrinolaringologia, do desenvolvimento da medicina hospitalar universitária e da promoção de saúde junto da sociedade. O espólio, organizado em Catálogos, é constituído por instrumental antigo, documentação bibliográfica e iconografia associadas, o que torna particularmente interessante para a investigação, exposição e divulgação
