A Grécia, ainda que seja uma entidade dotada de especificidades que lhe permitem diferenciar-se de outras civilizações, acaba por se constituir como uma realidade integrada nas dinâmicas mediterrâneas. Destaca-se nos estudos sobre as culturas e mentalidades gregas o reconhecimento, mediante as análises às camadas que constituem o ethos Grego, da existência de elementos definidos como ‘estrangeiros’. Contudo, apontam também para o facto de não ser uma simples adição, pelo que se fala num processo de incorporação e de transformação dessa matéria num produto novo. O nosso estudo integra-se nestas problemáticas. Para tal, ganham destaque os estudos (década de 30) de Stith Thompson (em torno dos Märchen), onde se salienta o esforço de inventariação de temas literários (Motif-Index). É dentro desta linha de pensamento que integramos o conceito de K2111 no espectro da literatura: ele representa uma cristalização literária, definido por “uma mulher que tenta seduzir um homem e depois o acusa de a ter tentado violar” (Thompson 1934: 481). Paralelamente a isto, temos presente a Cultura como uma realidade polissémica e multifacetada que se adapta e se altera para novos ecossistemas. Assim, mediante um périplo pelas principais civilizações – Egipto; Mesopotâmia; Ugarit; Israel; Grécia; Roma –, procuramos traçar um padrão comportamental deste tema literário. A ênfase vai também, não só para o esforço de prospecção/inventariação/recepção de narrativas pertencentes a este nicho, mas também por uma interpretação do mesmo. Pretendemos demonstrar, documental, mas também historiograficamente, que as ideias circulam, mas acima de tudo, a forma como elas são utilizadas estão condicionadas pelo ecossistema em que se integram.

Abstract: Greece, even though characterized by specific features that allow differentiating itself from other civilizations, is integrated into the dynamis of the Mediterranean. Greek social-cultural studies knowledge, based on the analysis of the several layers that make the Hellenic ethos., the existence of ‘foreign’ elements. Still, they also point to the fact that this phenomenon is not a simple addition, but there is implicit to it a process of incorporation and transformations of these elements into new ones. Our study focus on these questions. For that the emphasis is on the researches (the 30th) of Stith Thompson (related with the Märchen), and his efford on cataloging literary themes (Motif-Index). The concept of K2111 relates with these questions: it represents a literary crystallization defined by “a woman makes vain overtores on a man and then accuses him of attempting to force her” (Thompson 1934: 481). Beside that we keep in mind the idea that Culture is not a monolithic bloc, instead, it it a polysemic and multifaceted reality that changes ant adapts itself to new ecosystems. Therefore, through a circumnavigation on the principal civilizations – Egypt; Mesopotamia; Ugarit; Israel; Greece; Rome –, our goal is to trace a behavioral pattern on this literary theme. The emphasis is on, not only the effort of prospection/cataloging/reception of the narratives related with this niche, but also the interpretation of it: we want to understand, from documental and historiographically, that ideas circulate on the around the Mediterranean, but above all, the way that they are utilized are conditioned by the ecosystem that embody them.
