This study provides the first systematic musicological analysis of coroplastics with musical representations from Greek Sicily. By examining a vast corpus of terracotta figurines and pinakes—predominantly depicting female aulos, tympanon, and kymbala players—the research identifies a profound link between material culture and ritual performance. The spatial distribution of these finds reveals their crucial role within the sacred spheres of Demeter, Kore, and Artemis, offering new evidence of the lived musical landscapes and ceremonial practices of the Western Greeks.
