Abstract

La soluzione di problemi diffusivi anisotropi si presenta in molti ambiti ambientali, quali ad esempio trasporto di calore, problemi di flusso e di trasporto per acque sotterranee, simulazioni di giacimenti petroliferi. Questi problemi sono caratterizzati da un tensore diffusivo a rango pieno che diventa diagonale solo se il sistema di riferimento è allineato con la direzione principale di anisotropia.
