Abstract

Reconhecendo a importância da Arte e a necessidade de novas abordagens didáticas no ensino artístico o presente estudo explora as potencialidades do Livro Objeto como ferramenta pedagógica. A temática apresentada é resultante da prática de Ensino supervisionada no ensino Secundário em Artes Visuais. A escolha do tema teve como finalidade aprofundar o estudo do Livro Objeto como instrumento de trabalho em sala de aula, de forma a desenvolver o potencial criativo, técnico e expressivo dos alunos. Procedeu-se ao estudo do tema mediante uma investigação-ação centrando-se esta na dimensão da aprendizagem, criatividade e parcerias entre escola e serviço educativo do museu da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Os dados recolhidos e analisados provêm da observação participante, dos portfolios dos alunos e dos inquéritos que lhes foram propostos. Os resultados deste projeto revelaram-se muito positivos quer a nível de competências adquiridas pelos alunos quer em termos de resultados obtidos. Com a presente investigação participativa e tendo por base o Livro Objeto pretendemos analisar e mostrar a importância da introdução de novas práticas e soluções artísticas no ensino das Artes e a importância da mediação e colaboração com instituições museológicas extraescolares.

Recognizing the importance of art and the need for new didactic approaches in artistic teaching, this study explores the potentialities of the Object Book as a pedagogical tool. The theme presented is the result of supervised teaching practice in Secondary Education in Visual Arts. The choice of the theme aims to deepen the study of the Object Book as a working tool in the classroom in order to develop the creative, technical and expressive potential of students. The subject was studied through an action research focusing on the dimension of learning, creativity and partnerships between school and educational service of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation museum. With the present participatory research based on the Object Book theme, we intend to analyze and show the importance of the introduction of new artistic practices and solutions in the teaching of the Arts.
