Abstract

Se trata, en este trabajo, de hacer una recopilación documental y un estudio analítico de todo el material escultórico de época romana aparecido en Écija, antigua Colonia Augusta Firma Astigi. El esquema que tendrá la redacción de esta Tesis será el siguiente: PRESENTACIÓN: donde se dará una breve de cómo surge este trabajo, la oportunidad que supone, el estado actual del conocimiento sobre el tema, etc. 1. OBJETIVOS. METODOLOGIA: en este apartado debe reflejarse las cuestiones principales que se quieren abordar en esta investigación y los pasos a seguir. 2. CATÁLOGO: catalogar las piezas mediante una ficha tipo que incluya todos los aspectos más relevantes de la misma: medidas, lugar de hallazgo, material, etc. Agrupar aquéllas que presenten unas mismas características. 3. ANÁLISIS TIPOLÓGICO Y ESTilÍSTICO: estudio critico e individualizado de cada una de las piezas en relación con los paralelos que se pueden encontrar en otras zonas del Imperio. Este apartado constituye el trabajo fundamental de esta Tesis. 4. TÉCNICAS Y MATERIALES: una vez analizadas las piezas en función de su tipología, estilo e iconografía, intentar extraer conclusiones generales sobre la estatuaria romana en Écija a partir del material y la forma en que fueron realizadas. 5. FUNCIÓN Y CONTEXTO: a partir del lugar de hallazgo y la investigación hasta ahora realizada en este trabajo, intentar dar una explicación sobre la función que tendría el aparato ornamental escultórico en la Colonia. En el caso en que sea posible, hipotetizar sobre la posible ubicación originaria de cada una de las piezas. 6. CONCLUSIONES 7. BIBLIOGRAFÍA
