Abstract

Spätestens seit der Etablierung von ChatGPT als eine für die breite Masse sowohl der Unternehmen als auch der Bevölkerung gleichermaßen interessante Anwendung der Künstlichen Intelligenz im November 2022 neigt sich die Epoche der Industrie 4.0 dem Ende entgegen. In diesem Working Paper werden die Grenzen der Industrie 4.0 aufgezeigt und die Potenziale der Industrie 5.0 analysiert.

At the latest since the establishment of ChatGPT as an application of artificial intelligence of interest to the broad masses of both companies and the general public in November 2022, the era of Industry 4.0 is drawing to a close. In this working paper, the limits of Industry 4.0 are highlighted and the potentials of Industry 5.0 are analysed.
