Abstract

The interaction between school and its environment presents itself as a reality to which a school can not be indifferent to. Apart from presenting a synthesis of reading and of the way it’s learnt, this paper also refers to the training of a community of readers, which in a naïve and even poetic way, shows that even in the interior of the country, parents/educators only need to be cherished and valued. In this way, the school has set forth, beyond its boundaries in search of other contexts that can cross each other harmoniously. And so, a community of readers, which this paper calls with some audacity, was born. The community of readers, assumed democratically, made up of readers with diverse interests, proved to be a precious link between the school and the community throughout our investigation.
