Abstract

Esta conferência investiga a representação pictórica dos trajes contidos nas figuras pertencentes à coleção de azulejaria de “figuras de convite” em exposição no Museu Berardo Estremoz, de Lisboa. Propõe uma análise de algumas figuras dos painéis de azulejos confeccionados pelos artistas Nicolau de Freitas, Domingos de Almeida e Valentim de Almeida. Realizadas entre os anos de 1730., pretende-se observar os principais aspectos da indumentária de transição entre Barroco tardio, Regência e Rococó nos trajes das figuras e suas modelagens. No intuito de explicitar os elementos constituintes dos trajes e sua relação com o seu tempo e apresentar a codificação contida nas figuras de convite.
