This report aims to describe the curricular internship carried out at Sintagma Traduções Unipessoal, Lda., as part of the Master's Degree in Translation offered by the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. Since the main theme and objective of the internship was to acquire skills in the translation and subtitling of audiovisual content, the following paper intends to present the process that enabled the development of practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Therefore, the main sources are the experience from the internship, the knowledge obtained from the Audiovisual Translation Seminars I and II, as well as the research carried out for this report. The internship had a duration of 303 hours, carried out between October 2, 2023 and December 7, 2023. During these two months, I took part in various translation, subtitling, transcription and teletext projects, which ranged from episodes of television series, reality shows, documentaries, and concerts. I mostly worked with the English-Portuguese language pair, having also undertaken a few Portuguese-only projects and one Spanish-Portuguese project. The report consists of an introduction, four main chapters and a conclusion. The chapters are organized according to a specific theme, including the characterization of the internship and the entity's presentation (analysing and describing the practical tasks carried out), a theoretical analysis of subtitling, outlining translation strategies for this practice and discussing the correction of highlighted errors, a theoretical description of subtitling for teletext, noting its main points of interest and difficulties, as well as an analysis of linguistic problems detected and corrected during the internship and the composition of this report, reflecting on the importance of linguistic accuracy.

O presente relatório visa descrever o estágio realizado na Sintagma Traduções Unipessoal, Lda., no âmbito do Mestrado em Tradução da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Uma vez que o estágio teve como tema e objetivo principal a aquisição de aptidões para a tradução e legendagem de conteúdos audiovisuais, é apresentado o processo que permitiu o desenvolvimento de capacidades práticas e conhecimentos teóricos. Para tal, servirá como base a experiência do estágio curricular, as aprendizagens retiradas dos Seminários de Tradução Audiovisual I e II, assim como a pesquisa efetuada para a realização do relatório. O estágio teve a duração de 303 horas, efetuadas entre 2 de outubro de 2023 e 7 de dezembro de 2023. Ao longo destes dois meses, participei em diversos projetos de tradução, legendagem, transcrição e legendagem para teletexto, variando entre episódios de séries, reality shows, documentários e concertos. Trabalhei, maioritariamente, com o par linguístico inglês-português, tendo, adicionalmente, realizado alguns projetos apenas em português e um projeto de espanhol para português. O relatório é constituído por uma introdução, quatro capítulos principais e uma conclusão. Os capítulos encontram-se organizados segundo um tema específico, incluindo a caracterização do estágio e a apresentação da entidade (analisando e descrevendo as tarefas práticas realizadas), uma análise teórica da legendagem, apresentando estratégias de tradução para esta prática e discutindo a correção de erros assinalados, uma descrição teórica da legendagem para teletexto, comentando os seus principais pontos de interesse e dificuldades, bem como uma análise de problemas linguísticos detetados e corrigidos durante o estágio curricular e a redação do relatório, refletindo acerca da importância da correção linguística.
