Piaget e a filosofia moderna do conhecimento

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The experimental support offered to genetic epistemology by psychology does not suffice to downgrade the role of philosophical inspiration in the formulation of the very itineraries it has traced and trodden. An example of the necessary compromise between the two refers to the continuous quest for the progressive construction of the subject of knowledge, based upon the actions of the individual subject. However, if such formulation translates a problem which transcendental philosophy has managed to equate, the solution proposed by Piaget presents, nevertheless, a certain ambiguity, since he conceives the subject of knowledge in opposition to the very individual subject while, simultaneously, recognizing the latter to lay at the very roots of the constitutive process of the former.
