Abstract

Na sociedade atual, novas formas de literacia desafiam os educadores a implementar estratégias multifacetadas que tornem os estudantes leitores bem sucedidos. Este trabalho de investigação intitula-se “O Conto: uma sedução na aprendizagem da leitura”, porque sentimos necessidade de analisar este fantástico encontro entre a criança, o conto e a motivação para a aprendizagem da leitura. Com este trabalho, usando o conto como instrumento motivador/impulsionador da leitura, verificou-se que é possível despertar os alunos para o mundo fascinante da leitura. Apresenta-se o conto como uma ferramenta importante na aprendizagem desta competência, pois consegue motivar as crianças para as aprendizagens a testar. Ele proporciona-lhes prazer e entretenimento. As cores, grafemas, imagens e filmes dos mais diversos contos parecem apelar aos principais sentidos que importa desenvolver na infância, transportando a criança para um mundo mágico, onde pode ir buscar conceitos e vivências úteis para a sua integração social, sem descurar as suas capacidades cognitivas necessárias à aprendizagem da leitura
