Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio foi elaborado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino da Música da Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo e está organizado em três capítulos. No Capítulo I, apresenta-se uma contextualização e caracterização do Conservatório de Música do Porto, desde a sua estrutura organizacional, recursos, comunidade educativa, até à descrição pormenorizada do ensino da guitarra clássica na instituição. No Capítulo II, descreve-se a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, através de perfis de alunos, relatórios de observação, planificação de aulas, entre outros. No Capítulo III, o foco recai sobre o Projeto de Investigação, o qual explora a distonia focal, com ênfase no conhecimento que existe no Ensino Superior sobre a mesma, incluindo uma revisão bibliográfica, apresentação da metodologia de estudo, análise de dados de questionários aplicados a alunos e entrevistas realizadas a músicos, apresentação e discussão dos resultados e, por último, conclusão. Os resultados indicam que o conhecimento sobre a distonia focal, apesar de ao longo dos últimos anos se ter difundido um pouco mais, ainda é relativamente reduzido, pois trata-se de um tema pouco discutido, o que pode ser bastante prejudicial para a carreira dos músicos. De igual forma, concluiu-se que, no Ensino Superior, a saúde dos músicos, no que toca à prática musical e outros aspetos da saúde física e psicológica, não recebe a devida atenção.

This Internship Report was prepared as part of the Supervised Teaching Practice curricular unit of the Master's Degree in Music Teaching at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo and is organized into three chapters. Chapter I provides a contextualization and characterization of the Conservatório de Música do Porto, from its organizational structure, resources and educational community, to a detailed description of classical guitar teaching at the institution. Chapter II describes the Supervised Teaching Practice, through student profiles, observation reports, lesson planning, among other things. In Chapter III, the focus is on the Research Project, which explores focal dystonia, with an emphasis on the knowledge that exists in higher education about it. It includes a literature review, presentation of the study methodology, analysis of data from questionnaires applied to students and interviews conducted with musicians, presentation and discussion of the results and, finally, the conclusion. The results indicate that although knowledge about focal dystonia has become more widespread in recent years, it is still relatively limited, as it is a little-discussed topic, which can be quite detrimental to musicians' careers. Similarly, it was concluded that in higher education, musicians' health, in terms of musical practice and other aspects of physical and psychological health, does not receive the attention it deserves.
