Abstract

A prematuridade encerra algumas questões éticas que quisemos analisar e reflectir e que se prendem com: Quais os limites da viabilidade do recém-nascido prematuro? Quando é que uma reanimação intensiva é considerada apropriada ou inapropriada? Quais os critérios que tornarão legítima a reanimação do prematuro? Quem toma a decisão? O que distingue a atitude de deixar acontecer a morte natural da eutanásia?
