Aspetos sociolinguísticos dos estrangeirismos

Abstract

Este estudo pretende averiguar a relação entre o uso de estrangeirismos, habilitações académicas dos falantes, setor de atividade e género. Os resultados mostram que os informantes com mais habilitações académicas usam mais palavras estrangeiras; que o setor de atividade com maior índice de atualização de estrangeirismos é o da hotelaria e que os informantes do sexo feminino usam menos estrangeirismos do que os falantes do sexo masculino.
