Com o avanço tecnológico e científico a crescer exponencialmente a cada dia que passa, e estando a área dos Direitos de Autor cada vez mais em expansão, sentimos necessidade de nos debruçarmos sobre uma problemática em concreto: o direito de sequência no mundo da arte. Propusemo-nos a analisar a querela existente em redor deste direito, por forma a determinarmos se este deveria chamado, ou não, como sendo um Direito de Autor.

With the technological and scientific advancement growing exponentially with each passing day, and as the Author’s Right is increasingly expanding, we feelt the need to focus on a particular issue: the artist’s resale right in the art world. We’ve proposed to analyze the quarrel surrounding this right, in order to determine whether it should be called, or not, as an artist’s resale right.
