Abstract

O autor procura mostrar a íntima relação que vê entre o desenvolvimento motor da criança em experiências emocionais com que ela se defronta, desde a nascimento. Cada acto motor tem uma finalidade, que deriva do entendimento emocional que a criança consegue tirar de cada situação, e da caparcidade de resposta que vai adquirindo. Há uma linha de amadurecimento emocional, em paralelo interarctivo com uma linha de amadurecimento motor, e desta interacção vai nascer uma capacidade de pensar. Tal só é possível a partir do encontro com uma figura maternal «contentora, em primeiro lugar, depois com uma figura paternal, organizadora da «função de triangulação ». Ao lado da estruturação de um espaço exterior à criança, esta vai organizando um espaço interior, e adquirindo uma capacidade de simbolização, base do pensamento. Só a partir daqui pode a criança adquirir uma linguagem. Motricidade, afecto e pensamento estão, assim, na base da linguagem. O autor analisa, por fim, a génese das perturbações do desenvolvimento de três crianças. ------- ABSTRACT ------ The author endeavours to show the close links that exist between motor development, emotional maturation and the growth of thought. Using concepts close to Meltzer, Bion and Piaget he analysis the developmental difficulties of three children.
