O desenvolvimento moral e a educação ambiental

Abstract

A Psicologia Evolutiva permite-nos conhecer as etapas do desenvolvimento do ser humano, as estruturas cognitivas e afectivas, as progressivas aquisições, etc., ajudando-nos a estudar o desenvolvimento moral (juízo moral, sentimentos morais e a consciência moral) e os seus factores evolutivos. Nesta dimensão moral incluímos a “educação ambiental” como um dos conhecimentos importantes à evolução e desenvolvimento da consciência moral ao nível prático. O educador ambiental (como todo o educador) deve possuir um conhecimento mínimo das etapas do desenvolvimento moral ao longo dos quais aparecem os “universais” morais: sentido de justiça, cooperação, solidariedade, participação, etc., temáticas vinculadas de modo integral sobre o meio ambiente. Vejamos três pontos básicos sobre esta relação: perspectiva cognitiva; a perspectiva Koklberg; e responsabilidade moral.
