Abstract

Tipo B. 86,70 p. 100 MS. 91,00 p. 100 U A. 11 ,20 p. 100 PD. 6,30 p. 100 I,B. A group of 338 lambs were used in two tests of industrial finishing (260 males, singles, twins, pure and cross-breed and 78 females of the same characteristics). In the first essay there were two points of study, at the 18-20 Kg (average 14.9 Kg) and from this time to the slaughtering (average 26.3 Kg), for these two reference points the voluntary intake of concentrate were 46 and 39.5 g, and the feed conversion were 2.78 and 3.8, respectivaly. The relationship between feed conversion/voluntary intake and voluntary intake and live weigth, were significant at levels of 0.0.5 and 0.01 at both steps. In the second test four classes of live weight were considered and values of 18.76, 23.0, 26.1 and 32.39 Kg, were found, with voluntary intake values of 42.0, 45.4, 44.0 and 39.0,and feed conversion of 4.19, 4.8, 5.23 and 5.5, respectivaly. The relationships between feed conversion and voluntary intake and voluntary intake and live weight were also significant at 0.05 and 0.01 levels. The composition of the concentrates used was: Type A. 85.24 p. 100 DS 95.00 p. 100 AU 14.00 p. 100 DP 5.90p.100CF Type B. 86.79 p. 100 DS 91.00 p.100 AU 11.20 p. 100 DP 6.30p.1000F Type C. 86.0 p. 100 DS 89.0 p. 100 AU 13.3 p. 100 DP 6.7 p. 100 CF
