En el actual contexto posmoderno las dinámicas turísticas han mutado. Esto se expresa en el sistema territorial de Tandilia (Argentina), particularmente en el sector serrano sur de la ciudad de Tandil, donde sus características intrínsecas, como la geodiversidad territorial, le otorgan valor y producen una diferenciación del área, convirtiéndola en escenario de transformaciones territoriales vinculado a la práctica turística de diversa índole. Muchas de estas transformaciones, no obstante, se hacen en detrimento de la geodiversidad y la geoconservación de dicho espacio. El presente estudio pretende analizar las transformaciones y el vínculo entre los consumos turísticos, la geodiversidad y la geoconservación territorial de dicho sector. Para el objetivo de la presente investigación se realizó un análisis multitemporal de las transformaciones vinculadas a los consumos turísticos en el área de estudio desde una perspectiva de tipo descriptiva, a partir de la comparación de imágenes satelitales extraídas de diversas fuentes. A esto se le sumó el relevamiento de fotografías de puntos de interés en el territorio para el presente análisis.

In the present post-modern context, tourist dynamics have mutated. This is expressed in the Sistema de Tandilia, particularly in the southern hills of the city Tandil, where its intrinsic characteristics, such as territorial geodiversity, give it value and produce a differentiation of the surrounding area, turning it into a scenario of territorial transformations linked to the diverse tourist practices. Many of these transformations are to the detriment of the geodiversity and geoconservation of this space. This study aims to analyse the transformations and the link between tourism consumption, geodiversity and territorial geoconservation in this sector. For the purpose of this research, a multi-temporal analysis of the transformations associated with tourism consumption in the study area was conducted from a descriptive perspective, based on the comparison of satellite images extracted from different sources. To this was added the survey of photographs in the territory around points of interest for the present analysis.
