The educational processes of teaching learning have evolved since long time ago with technology. Because of this technological advance and the need to communicate in a universal spoken language like it is English language, we intend to research if the level of English language which the students obtained in Ecuadorian universities it is equivalent what to CEFRL determines; so we will review the current approaches and propose the use of the CEFRL parameters in the certifications obtained in the higher education institutions.
