Si dimostrano che le interpretazioni che durante un determinato arco di tempo hanno motivato erroneamente ubicare Iliturgi nelle vecinanze di Andujar, fino identificare ad collocare correttamente nella zona di Los Villares de Andújar il municipium romano Isturgi Triumphale.
Se exponen las interpretaciones que, a lo largo del tiempo, motivaron la errónea identificación de Iliturgi en las proximidades de Andújar hasta la correcta identificación en la zona de Los Villares de Andújar del municipio Isturgi Triumphale.
La redacción del presente trabajo ha contado con el soporte del proyecto "Ciudad y tradiciones productivas: comercio, distribución y consumo (HUM2007-64460/HIST) enmarcado dentro del Plan Nacional de Proyectos de I+D 2007.
Interpretations are exposed, over time, led to the erroneous identification of Iliturgi in close proximity to the correct identification Andujar in the Los Villares de Andújar of municipium Isturgi Triumphale.
