[EN]Due to the importance of both the organization and preservation of personal files as essential sources in any science field research, we present here a new proposal to organise the huge amount of documents, most of them unknown, by the German musicologist Kurt Schindler. He was an outstanding figure in the field of traditional and popular music in our country during the first years of the last century; also important because of his compiling work as well as being a studious man all throughout his life.

[ES]Dada la importancia de la organizaci?n y conservaci?n de los archivos personales como fuentes primordiales para la investigaci?n en cualquier campo de las ciencias, presentamos una propuesta de organizaci?n para la numerosa documentaci?n, in?dita en gran parte, del m?sico alem?n Kurt Schindler, figura se?era en el campo de la m?sica tradicional y popular de nuestro pa?s a principios del pasado siglo, tanto por su labor de recopilador como de estudioso.
