[ES] Los objetivos de este trabajo son principalmente tres: 1) Estudiar c?mo se ve reflejada en la m?sica istme?a tanto el rol de la mujer como las relaciones de g?nero en la sociedad zapoteca, 2) Analizar la representaci?n de la mujer que hacen los compositores en la m?sica zapoteca istme?a y 3) Demostrar la conformaci?n de una visi?n femenina en esta m?sica; con ello intento responder principalmente a tres preguntas: ?Qu? elementos de las relaciones de g?nero y del rol de la mujer en la sociedad se manifiestan en la m?sica istme?a?, ?C?mo est? representada la mujer zapoteca en esta m?sica? y ?Existe una mirada masculina y una femenina respecto a la representaci?n de la mujer zapoteca en la m?sica?.

[EN] The objectives of this study are mainly three: 1) Study how music is reflected in the isthmus as the role of women and gender relations in society Zapotec, 2) analyze the representation of women composers are doing in Isthmus Zapotec music and 3) demonstrate the formation of a female viewpoint in this music, with this attempt to answer three main questions: What elements of gender relations and the role of women in society is manifested in the Panamanian music? , How are women represented in this music Zapotec? and Is there a male and a female gaze on the representation of the Zapotec women in music?.
