De acuerdo con su estructura y disposici?n morfol?gica, la mayor?a de las regiones que podemos agrupar en la ?Cuenca Alta del Guadalquivir?, corresponden b?sicamente a las actuales provincias de Ja?n, Granada y C?rdoba, sobre todo las tierras situadas a ambas vertientes del r?o, junto a la falla de Sierra Morena al Norte y el Sistema Subb?tico al Sur. Pero desde el punto de vista hist?rico, se incluyen dentro de esa determinaci?n otra serie de zonas que van unidas a aquellos dos ambientes geogr?ficos, participando en el proceso cultural que, en nuestro trabajo, presentamos como ?mbitos de interconexi?n entre unos centros y otros.
