Abstract

Nos proponemos en este breve art?culo dar a conocer una serie de yacimientos, in?ditos unos, conocidos otros, que vienen a llenar de alguna manera el vac?o de estudios sistem?ticos existente en el campo de la pintura esquem?tica en tierras extreme?as a partir del gran corpus elaborado por el abate H. Breuil en los a?os 33 al 35. No es que desde esa fecha no se haya descubierto nada sobre el tema, si se ha descubierto, lo que sucede es que ninguno de los hallazgos se han publicado con los calcos y fotograf?as que era de esperar y la noticia de los mismos no ha rebasado nunca, o muy pocas veces el ?mbito local o regional, en cualquier caso no se les ha prestado la atenci?n debida. Por eso queremos hoy traer una muestra de estos descubrimientos, cumpliendo as? dos objetivos: en primer lugar dar a conocer con calcos y fotograf?as recientes las nuevas pinturas y en segundo lugar rendir un sincero homenaje a todas aquellas personas que con entusiasmo, sacrificio y desinter?s se han ocupado en buscar y reunir datos tan valiosos para la ciencia prehist?rica, labor siempre dura y mal pagada, pero muy ?til para quien posteriormente quiera hacer un trabajo de conjunto. Por ello con motivo de la tesis que tenemos en curso de preparaci?n, no tenemos m?s remedio que reconocer, respetar y agradecer el trabajo realizado por estas personas, unas al brindarme su amistad y acompa?arme como D. Jes?s C?novas y D. Graciano Baus, otras al indicarme los lugares de palabra y por escrito, otras finalmente al no haber ocultado la noticia y autorizarme a darla. A ellos y a quienes han colaborado conmigo en los trabajos de calco, fotograf?a y estudio, amigos y compa?eros del Departamento de Prehistoria y Arqueolog?a de Salamanca, especialmente al Dr. Jord?, jefe del mismo y al Dr. Fortea, les damos las gracias porque han hecho posible lo que ahora esbozamos y que desarrollaremos con m?s amplitud en nuestra tesis doctoral.
