[EN] The end of the Mousterian period has been one of the main objectives in the Palaeolithic research during the last decades. Although, the analysis of this problem is attached to either archaeological or epistemological factors. Among the first ones we can point the meaning of the archaeological data we count on, or the chronological doubt which affects to the Middle to Upper Palaeolithic transition; among the second group, our own comprehension of the data cultural value on Palaeolithic contexts, or the existence of an association species-culture. This seems to mean that during the end of the Mousterian period, a great variety of processes and situations have occurred, which development we know uncertainly.
