Abstract

[EN]This research focuses on the professional context of the social visual artist, analyzing a range of cultural events in order to examine their management models, practices, and thematic approaches. Its main objective is to contribute to the development of future training pathways that may be useful in the design of higher education curricula in art education. The study originates from a critical reflection on the relationship between the training currently offered to artists and the artistic practices developed in cultural spaces, with the aim of determining whether graduates acquire the necessary competencies to carry out socially oriented projects without the need for additional educational pathways. Furthermore, the research addresses several specific objectives: to collect information on recent cultural events in Spain that promote participatory and collaborative artistic practices; to identify the characteristics and diversity of these artistic proposals in terms of disciplines and approaches; and to compare academic training with the artistic practices implemented in cultural institutions.
