En esta ponencia presento la m?sica aplicada in?dita encontrada en una caja de papeles varios y perdifcda en los fondos inmensos de la biblioteca p?blica de Nueva York. Mi inter?s no es analizar la m?sica en s?, que es muy simple y sencilla, como corresponde a este entrem?s de Cervantes, sino contextualizarla, para intentar dar m?s luces sobre la recepci?n de m?sica espa?ola popular y aplicada en el p?blico de la cuidad de Nueva York durante el periodo de entreguerras el pasado siglo XX
