Abstract

[Es] El presente trabajo constituye una puesta al d?a de nuestros conocimientos sobre los anfiteatros situados en las inmediaciones de los campamentos legionarios y auxiliares durante el Alto Imperio. Partiendo de los nuevos hallazgos arqueol?gicos, epigr?ficos y de los estudios m?s recientes sobre el ej?rcito y los spectacula romanos, se lleva a cabo una actualizaci?n del cat?logo de estos anfiteatros y una caracterizaci?n de los mismos, poniendo especial atenci?n en sus posibles funciones. [En] This study is an update of our knowledge regarding the amphitheatres located in the vicinity of legionary and auxiliary camps during the High Empire. On the basis of new archaeological and epigraphic findings, and of the most recent studies on the Roman army and spectacula, an update of the list of such amphitheatres, together with their characterization, is undertaken, placing special emphasis on their possible functions.
