Abstract

[ES]En 1907, Amalia Guglielminetti publica Las v?rgenes locas. Un poemario de gran ?xito y gran esc?ndalo al mismo tiempo. La autora imagina unas v?rgenes-novias a la espera de su esposo que comparten una atm?sfera de tiempo suspendido y angustia encerradas en un convento, junto con las monjas, sus preceptoras. El dualismo y ambig?edad impl?citos en el t?tulo del libro remite a la est?tica modernista de principios del siglo XX, cuyos antecedentes directos son Baudelaire, Rub?n Dar?o y, en ?mbito italiano, D? Annunzio y Carducci. Las v?rgenes locas se presentan bajo las cambiantes semblanzas de la Femme fatale, fundiendo en sus figuras la tradici?n cristiana y la pagana de la amazona, a la que se une el concepto modernista de la virgen como diosa del amor, que se identifica con la hetaira.

Este libro se enmarca en el proyecto de investigaci?n financiado por la Consejer?a de Educaci?n de la Junta de Castilla y Le?n y el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (SA019P17), con el t?tulo ?Escritoras in?ditas en espa?ol en los albores del s. XX (1880-1920). Renovaci?n pedag?gica del canon literario?dirigido por la profesora Milagro Mart?n Clavijo de la Universidad de Salamanca
