[EN] The present dissertation aims to study the legal profession as an object, being this a fundamental pillar of the Constitutional state. It is focused on analyzing and commenting the new regulation of the access to the above mentioned profession established in the Law 34/2006, of October 30th, and its Regulation of development, approved by RD 775/2011, of June 3rd, by which apart from needing a Master or a Degree in Law, you also need the Professional Attorney's License. This can be obtained studying additional training, which consists of three stages: a training course, a period internship outside and a final test proving the professional training. Finally, to be able to work as an attorney, it is necessary to become a member of a bar association, and a big part of this dissertation is focused on this process.
[ES] El presente trabajo tiene por objeto el estudio de la Abogac?a, siendo esta un pilar fundamental del Estado de Derecho. Se centra en analizar y comentar la nueva regulaci?n del acceso a dicha profesi?n, establecida en la Ley 34/2006, de 30 de octubre, y su Reglamento de desarrollo, aprobado por RD 775/2011, de 3 de junio, requiriendo para ello adem?s del t?tulo de Licenciatura o Grado en Derecho, el T?tulo Profesional de Abogado, el cual se obtendr? con una formaci?n adicional, que consta de tres etapas: un curso de formaci?n, un periodo de pr?cticas externas y una prueba de evaluaci?n final que acredite la capacitaci?n profesional. Finalmente, para poder ejercer como Abogado, es preciso colegiarse en un Colegio de Abogados, aspecto al que se dedica tambi?n una buena parte del trabajo.
