Abstract

[EN] New technologies are present in many aspects of our daily lives; however their progress has been increased criminality and blocked the investigation of crimes committed by Internet. For this reason, Spanish legislation has had to include new offenses, especially to protect the children against Internet dangers, because they are the most vulnerable victims. One of these new offenses is the so-called grooming, introduced by the LO 5/2010. Coming up next, we will try to explain its origin, what it is, how it is regulated and what has been introduced in the new reforms about investigation procedure and about children?s fundamental rights.
