[ES]Este trabajo estudia el enfrentamiento pol?tico ocurrido en el Pa?s Vasco entre el fuerismo tradicionalista, representado por el carlismo y el integrismo, y el primer nacionalismo vasco. Se centra en la ?ltima d?cada del siglo XIX. Comienza analizando la bibliograf?a relacionada con el tema y continua investigando sobre las fuentes, especialmente la prensa de cada uno de los partidos pol?ticos implicados.
[EN]This paper studies the political confrontation in the Basque Country between the traditionalist fuerismo, represented by the carlismo and the integrismo, and the first Basque nationalism. It focuses on the last decade of the nineteenth century. It begins by analyzing the literature related with the topic and thereafter examines the sources, especially the press of each of the involved political parties.
