Intermedialidad e intertextualidad en la narrativa gr?fica

Abstract

Existen dos aproximaciones distintas al estudio de la intermedialidad. Por un lado, una orientaci?n derivada de los estudios literarios y narrativos, en paralelo con el desarrollo de conceptos como dialogismo e intertextualidad, presentes en la obra de Bakhtin y en las relecturas de la misma a partir de las traducciones de Julia Kristeva y los trabajos cr?ticos del grupo Tel Quel. Por otro, se encuentra la orientaci?n que deriva de los estudios de comunicaci?n, en la que la homolog?a estructural entre medios de distinto origen podr?a analizarse de forma transtextual o, en rigor, transmedial. El estudio de la intermedialidad que se ha propuesto para la ejecuci?n de este proyecto de innovaci?n docente, dirigido a estudiantes de M?ster (Narrativas latinoamericanas de ruptura, Teor?a cinematogr?fica vanguardista, ?The One and The Many?: The Short Story and the Short Story Composite), no parte de una perspectiva amplia y heterog?nea (geneal?gica), sino que se concibe como una categor?a cr?tica para el an?lisis de manifestaciones espec?ficas de relaciones interart?sticas en un g?nero espec?fico (la narrativa gr?fica) y en un contexto hist?rico-cultural determinado (redefinici?n del c?mic como arte, madurez de su lenguaje y acercamiento al hecho literario). La inclusi?n del estudio del c?mic como medio (cultural de masas) y de la ?novela gr?fica? como g?nero en el ?rea de Artes y Humanidades pretende atender, en su globalidad, a los fen?menos de la comunicaci?n con un enfoque interdisciplinar. Ello implica analizar tanto la especificidad del medio como del formato de publicaci?n, y abordar, manteniendo un planteamiento semi?tico integrador, las caracter?sticas formales y los recursos espec?ficos, seg?n su soporte, articulaci?n y relaci?n pragm?tica con las condiciones de su producci?n y con los valores ideol?gicos que transmite.
