As more industries acknowledge the superior properties and advantages of composites over the traditional materials, the need and demand for faster and cheaper ways to manufacture composites arises. The conventional method of thermal curing is unable to sustain future demand and the production cost is considerably high and the process is energy inefficient. Of the several new emerging techniques researched such as using ultra violet light (UV) and gamma rays, microwaves are strongly preferred for their inherent safe and wide application in the domestic food industry. | selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
