Unha aproximación ás actitudes e prexuízos cara á gheada

Abstract

Analízanse as actitudes e prexuízos face á gheada dunha mostra de adolescentes que cursaban segundo de BUP en catro institutos galegos, dous deles ubicados cidades e outros dous en vilas (N=248). Na mostra estaban representados diferentes grupos sociolingüísticos de lingua inicial, habitual e de uso autopercibido da gheada. Utilizouse un método directo de medición, consistente nun conxunto de escalas tipo Likert combinadas con preguntas categóricas que medían as tres dimensiones das actitudes lingüísticas (crenzas sobre a gheada, avaliacións e grao de uso). Os datos procesáronse mediante probas estatísticas paramétricase non paramétricas. As conclusións mais destacables son a pervivencia de certos prexuízos sobre o fenómeno, significativamente relacionados coa lingua habitual e o grao de uso da gheada. Hai unha clara relación entre actitude e conduta, no sentido de que canto máis galego se fala e máis se usa a gheada menos prexuízos se amosan.
