Modelação Numérica pelo Método dos Elementos Finitos de uma Telha Cerâmica

Abstract

O objectivo do presente trabalho é o desenvolvimento de modelos de uma telha cerâmica (de argila), tendo-se como ponto de partida um modelo de uma telha existente no mercado, para a simulação numérica, de forma a se obter um modelo com menor peso e igualmente resistente. Os vários desenvolvimentos propostos são implementados e testados no programa de elementos finitos Lusas. Verificou-se que alguns dos modelos criados obtiveram resultados que cumpriram os pressupostos definidos.

The aim of this work is the development of models of a clay tile, taking as its starting point a model of a tile on the market, for the numerical simulation in order to obtain a model with less weight and also resistant . The various proposed developments are implemented and tested in the finite element program Lusas. It was found that some of the models were created results that met the defined assumptions.
