Abstract

The NeuroHab system is a platform for cognitive training in digital format, providing several serious games with different goals of cognitive stimulation. Despite providing several serious games, these were isolated and without any connection between them. Thus, when a therapist wanted a user to play two serious games in a row, the user had to individually select the serious games to play, making the process dependent on the user. As the serious games were made available individually, the therapist's follow-up was also isolated, making an integrated tracking difficult. In order to solve these problems, and as one of the goals of this work, a system of training plans was implemented to allow the therapist to select a set of serious games to include in a training plan. These serious games can be configured according to the therapist's goal for the training plan, and after the creation of a training plan, it is available to all therapists in the system so as to serve as a basis for other therapists, if they so wish. This way, and after a user has an associated training plan, he or she can perform it on the mobile platform without having to select the serious games separately. The implementation of the training plan system allows the therapist to monitor the entire evolution of the user, because it makes it possible, and one of the objectives of the work, the creation of a reporting system based on the user's performance in all serious games that include the training plan, and with this to have information about the performance and progress of users grouped. This dissertation presents the development process of this training plan and reporting system, including the analysis of the state of the art, requirements gathering, solution and design architecture, implementation and testing.
