Abstract

This document's elaboration aims to report the work developed during the curricular traineeship at Centro Paroquial de Solidariedade Social de Arazede (CPSS), between November 1st and June 30th of 2018, beyond the scope of the curricular traineeship unit of the 2nd year of master's continuity degree in the Science of Education course.The main objective of the presented intervention is the promotion of an active ageing and an improvement on elders' life quality through the concretization of activities which aim at the cognitive and psycho-motor stimulation of Arazede's CPSS users.Taking seniors as a reference, through the document, there are still some references to the ageing themes, demographic ageing, active ageing, third age life quality, Educational Gerontology, and nursing homes as a social response, and Social Education. A elaboração deste documento pretende relatar o trabalho desenvolvido ao longo do estágio curricular no Centro Paroquial de Solidariedade Social de Arazede (CPSS), entre o dia 1 de Novembro de 2017 e o dia 30 de Junho de 2018, no âmbito da unidade curricular de estágio do 2.ºano do Mestrado de Continuidade em Ciências da Educação, lecionado na Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação. O objetivo principal da intervenção apresentada é a promoção do envelhecimento ativo e a melhoria da qualidade de vida na pessoa idosa, através da concretização de atividades que visam a estimulação cognitiva e a psicomotricidade dos utentes do CPSS de Arazede Tomando como referência a pessoa idosa, ao longo do documento são ainda feitas referências às temáticas do envelhecimento, envelhecimento demográfico, envelhecimento ativo, qualidade de vida na terceira idade, gerontologia educativa, os lares como respostas sociais e a Educação Social.
