Abstract

Num ambiente organizacional caracterizado por incertezas e insegurança relativamente ao futuro do funcionário na organização, o respeito pelo contrato psicológico representa um grande peso na satisfação com o trabalho e futura intenção de saída, assim como no seu comprometimento e envolvimento com o trabalho. Os contratos, mais do que formais e escritos, podem ser informais e implícitos, como é o caso do contrato psicológico entre o funcionário e o seu empregador. Com esta relação pressupõe-se o respeito de certas condições e obrigações por ambas as partes. Este trabalho de investigação pretende estudar, por um lado, de que forma os indivíduos percecionam o contrato psicológico na organização onde trabalham e de que forma, o respeito pelo contrato, influencia a satisfação com o trabalho, o comprometimento organizacional e envolvimento com o trabalho. Será ainda testada a relação entre esses conceitos e a intenção de saída, com vista a compreender de que forma a vontade do funcionário é influenciada pelas várias atitudes no trabalho. Por outro lado, será estudado de que forma os estudantes finalistas de universidades públicas percecionam o contrato psicológico e é feita uma comparação entre os dois grupos, a nível das perceções. Como suporte à investigação e de forma a poder testar as hipóteses, foram aplicados dois inquéritos distintos. Foi recolhida uma amostra de 339 inquiridos e os resultados foram tratados estatisticamente através de técnicas como a análise fatorial e regressão linear simples. Abstrat In an organizational environment characterized by uncertainty and insecurity about employee’s future in the organization, respect for the psychological contract will be decisive on job satisfaction and future employee's intention to leave as well as their commitment and involvement with work The contracts, more than formal and written that can be informal and implicit, such as the psychological contract between employee and their employer. This relationship is assumed to be in compliance with certain conditions and obligations for both parties. This research aims to study, on the one hand, how individuals perceive the psychological contract in the organization where they work, and in what way the respect for the psychological contract influences job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job involvement. It will be tested the relationship between these concepts and the intention to leave, in order to understand how the will of the employee is influenced by the various attitudes at work. On the other hand, it will be studied how the graduate students of public universities perceive the psychological contract and a comparison is made between the two groups, the level of perceptions
