Abstract

The authors present two siblings born to a consanguineous marriage displaying bilateral early onset severe cone-rod dystrophy, short-trunk short-limb dwarfism, umbilical hernia and severe neurosensory deafness. This phenotype resembles some previously described ciliopathies but does not fit the strict diagnostic criteria of any known syndrome. Thus, we present a novel syndrome from a phenotypical standpoint and discuss the potential molecular etiology
