Abstract

Neste estudo investigou-se em que sentido a aposentação influencia e tem impacto na conjugalidade. Para tal foram recolhidos dados através de questionários de auto-resposta a 32 sujeitos em fase pré-reforma (cinco anos antes) e em pós-reforma (até cinco anos depois). Os instrumentos utilizados foram a EAM (DAS) e o ENRICH, com intuito de avaliar e analisar as perceções da conjugalidade. Os resultados principais indicam, para a nossa amostra, uma melhoria significativa das perceções da conjugalidade após a reforma, em detrimento das perceções dos sujeitos que ainda se encontram na vida ativa.

This paper aims to research if retirement has impact and influence on marital relationships. In order to do that, auto-response inventories were distributted to collect information about our sample of 32 people in preretirement or in postretirement phase. The evaluation instruments used were EAM (DAS) and ENRICH. These instruments analyse the perceptions of adjustment and functioning of marital relationships. The main results showed an improvement in the perceptions of marital relationships since preretirement to posretirement phase.
