Inteligência emocional: principais instrumentos de medida

Abstract

This monograph is with view a detaild reflection of the main instruments of measure emerged over recent years, with the aim of assessing the construct emotional intelligence of the subject. In pursuit of this objective was presented in the first place, a brief reference to the historical development of concept, its theoretical framework f main models, making reference to authors who most on this issue. Later was conducted a brief exposure to some of the instruments made by authors of EI, major and trust, called in literature self measuring instruments and performance reporting. With refrence to the various studies, the results and conclusions, which were raised by their authors, we found that despite all the primacy and emphasis gven to the study nd aplicability of EI at present, there are considerable gaps in the validity of the nstruments that enable you to evaluate it. In spite of the current importance given the proliferation in organizational and social context of these instruments, identification of skills in the subject that allow a greater profit for organizations, better prliferation relations between social subject in multiple domais, there are still many issues unanswere. The instruments that are the most popularized and applied, are not considered by the scientific community by the lack of data and information submitted to allow an analysis concrete for its validity as instruments for asessing faithfully EI of competences.
