Abstract

Efectuámos a avaliação da situação clínica de 6 doentes com uveítes intermédias graves, tratados com Ciclosporina A, nos quais doseámos a alfa1 antitripsina no soro e aquoso antes e ao fim de um mês de terapêutica. Verificámos que, quer antes (p<0,05), quer ao fim de um mês (p<0,01), os valores do aquoso estão significativamente elevados em relação aos controles, o que não acontece no soro, havendo mesmo uma subida do valor médio, que consideramos poder ser resultado de activação macrofágica.
