O desemprego involuntário e a actualidade: efeitos do desemprego e proactividade orientada para o reemprego

Abstract

Unemployment affects more and more peoplein our country, emerging as a new paradigm of our society, affecting all the society and each individual at its core.In the paradigm surging with new technologies and the current crisis the tradicional search for employment and vocacional models aren’t appropriate because they are not always adequated to reality, the expectations of the employ or the employer or the real needs. This work, focused in ten interviews to individuals in unemployment’s contexts and registered in the Institute of Employment and Profissional Training (IEFP) in Coimbra, tries to examine the implications of unemployment on psychological structure of individuals, the implications of proactivity in reemployment and what is the implications of the current context in vocacional counseling.
