A Reforma de 57: Em Direção a um Ensino Universitário da Arquitetura

Abstract

Esta comunicação tem como objectivo analisar os processos e os métodos de ensino no curso de Arquitetura das duas Escolas de Belas-Artes Portuguesas para caracterizar a transformação do sistema Beaux-Arts num sistema Moderno, próximo do sistema universitário. Este objetivo principal é aprofundado através de dois objetivos secundários: primeiro, identificar os espaços de debate sobre a formação do arquiteto; segundo, caracterizar o contributo dos directores, dos professores e dos alunos para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Neste contexto, a investigação sobre a construção, fixação e implementação da Reforma de 57 pretende também para compreender os primeiros passos do processo de integração dos cursos de Arquitetura na Universidade que será aberto depois de 1974. Assim propomos organizar a comunicação em cinco momentos que permitam aprofundar o significado e o impacto da Reforma de 57 na história do ensino da Arquitetura em Portugal.
